SUSTAINABILITY

Most simply, the idea of sustainability is to be sure that our actions and decisions today do not inhibit the opportunities of future generations

We are living in a time when people may know a great deal about sustainability, while others know nothing at all. I would like to strike a balance with the concepts of sustainability and give them a working chance in all of the projects I that I have the privilege to work on.

My goal is to take a practical approach in helping my clients decide what concepts may be right for their project and budget.

There are many resources available for using reclaimed or repurposed materials. New products are always being released because green technology is developing so quickly. Let me help you discover a choice that's smart as well as practical.

*Geothermal heat pumps (sometimes referred to as GeoExchange, earth-coupled, ground-source, or water-source heat pumps) have been in use since the late 1940s. Geothermal heat pumps (GHPs) use the constant temperature of the earth as the exchange medium instead of the outside air temperature. This allows the system to reach fairly high efficiencies (300%-600%) on the coldest of winter nights, compared to 175%-250% for air-source heat pumps on cool days. [www.energy.gov]
